This movie is based on a true story about Gerry Conlon, who was falsely accused of an Irish Army bombing. After you watch this movie, you’ll end up taking a deep dive into Gerry Conlon’s life.

With music and romance, this film will play at your heartstrings. The setting is in Dublin and it does an exceptional job of transporting the viewer there. Oh, and the music is so catchy that the movie was turned into a Broadway musical.

The Boondock Saints

People tend to think that Norman Reedus started acting when he got the part in The Walking Dead, but he was an actor well before that. If you want to see some of his earlier work, check out “The Boondock Saints.” This movie follows the MacManus brothers. They are Irish immigrants who now live in Boston. They get tangled up in some mafia violence, and it isn’t long before a detective is on their tail. This movie seems like Guy Ritchie, or Quentin Tarantino could have made it, so if you like those directors, you’re sure to enjoy this one.
