Whether you’re a Picasso at heart, or art is out of your comfort zone, Art 105 Studios has something for everyone. From taking classes to learning art history, and taking a stroll on the Art Walk, the aesthetically pleasing views are endless here.

Take a Paint Class

You may be thinking, “Why would I take a painting class? I don’t have an artistic bone in my body.” Well, there’s good news— the hosts of these classes don’t ask you to come dressed as the perfect Picasso. They simply want you to come as you are and have fun with it. You never know, you may discover a hidden talent!

Many of Art 105 Studios Resident Artists host classes on a monthly basis. These classes are available to the public for a minimal cost. The next few classes will take place on November 14th at 2:00 P.M. or 5:00 P.M. with instructor Joy Shortell. The cost of the class is $35.00, and light refreshments will be served to get your creative juices flow.

Stroll on the Art Walk

While the “Art Walk” may sound like an outdoor gallery at first, it is so much more. The Art Walk is a series of homes that houses artists. Every home you see with a blue yard sign, you are welcome to pop in and watch the artists in their natural habitat, creating their very own pieces. Along the Art Walk, you will find the homes of Jacob Herman, Madeline Gray, Grace Joyner, Kim Garland, and so many more artists. Each of these artists is different in what they create and what materials they use to perfect their masterpieces. It is truly satisfying to watch an artist create something from scratch and turn it into some beautiful, and here on the Art Walk, you’ll get to do just that.
